Why Seatless Exists
I've spent most of my career building and scaling businesses that rely heavily on software — and fighting the same problem over and over again.
As a business grows, its software never quite fits.
You start with spreadsheets.
Then bolt on SaaS tools.
Then add more tools.
Then more integrations.
Then more seats.
Then more cost.
Eventually, the software runs the business — instead of supporting it.
And when you finally ask about custom software, you're told it will take:
- 6–12 months
- Hundreds of thousands of dollars
- And a level of risk only large enterprises can justify
For most small and medium businesses, that's a dead end.
I Built Seatless Because That Trade-Off Is Now Obsolete
AI has fundamentally changed the economics of building software.
For the first time, it's possible to build fully custom, production-grade systems:
- In weeks, not months
- At a fraction of traditional cost
- Without per-seat pricing
- With full ownership by the client
Seatless exists to bring that capability to businesses that were previously locked out.
A Bit of Background
I'm an Australian entrepreneur with 36 years building and scaling technology-enabled businesses.
Along the way I've:
- Co-founded and exited multiple healthcare and education businesses
- Designed and operated complex, regulated systems
- Seen first-hand how badly off-the-shelf software fits real operations
Seatless is the company I wish existed earlier — software built for the business, not for a market of millions.
Our Philosophy
Your business is unique.
Your workflows are unique.
Your software should be too.
Seatless doesn't sell licences.
We don't charge per seat.
We don't lock you into platforms.
We build software that fits the way you work — and you own it.
That's it.
